Public Hearing on Tentative Budget

Hearing is held in June with intent to formally adopt a final budget.

Public notice must be given at least 7 days before hearing date; published in at least one issue of a newspaper of general circulation; or if not available, posted in 3 public places.

All interested persons in attendance shall be given an opportunity to be heard.

After the conclusion of the public hearing the governing body may continue to review the tentative budget.
